We Don’t Have to Step Aside — The Fight for Our Rights Starts Now
Every year, I feel it more deeply — our personal rights are under attack. Quietly, strategically, and often wrapped in “safety” and “order,” pieces of our freedom are being chipped away.
Right now, we’re being told that the right to choose alternative medicine — something many of us have found healing in — doesn’t belong to us anymore. Bills like SB 3 and HB 28 are trying to criminalize wellness and control access to what’s already been declared federally legal.
It’s not just being taken — it’s being weaponized. Possessing plant-based medicine could now result in a felony charge.
Let that sink in.
This isn’t just about products on shelves. This is about what kind of country we’re shaping for the next generation.
I Didn’t Always Do Things the Right Way
Growing up, I made choices that didn’t always align with the law. I’ve lived on the wrong side of the line. I’ve felt what it’s like to be silenced, judged, and misunderstood. But I’ve also grown.
I’ve come to believe in a system that’s designed to keep our society safe and fair — when it’s done right.
I’ve come to defend those who wear the badge and put their lives on the line for the right reasons — the ones who walk into danger to protect the innocent, not control them. Are there people in power who abuse it? Yes. But the good ones don’t get enough credit.
And that’s exactly why I speak out now.
We Can’t Sit Back and Let This Happen
I stand up — not just for myself — but for everyone around me who feels like they don’t have a voice. For those who can’t risk speaking out because of their job, their fear, or their family situation. For those who rely on plant medicine to survive, not just to heal.
And I speak to those who are brave enough to fight — I need you beside me. Because the louder we are, the harder we are to ignore.
I know there are good people in politics. I’ve seen them speak out. They’re fighting for us too — but they can’t do it alone.
This Isn’t About Politics — It’s About People
If you believe in personal freedom…
If you believe in fair systems and safe access…
If you believe in defending what’s right, even when it’s hard…
Then stand up now.
Say NO to SB 3 and HB 28.
Say no to criminalizing relief.
Say no to silence.
Because we are not powerless. And we are not alone.
If we come together — if we fight back — we will be heard.
