Signed, Vetoed, or Silent — We’re Still Standing

No Matter What He Decides — We’re Not Done

As I write this, Governor Abbott hasn’t made his decision. He has until Sunday at midnight to sign, veto, or sit back and let SB 3 quietly become law without lifting a finger.

But here’s the truth—by the time you read this, it’s Monday. You’ll already know what he chose to do. And I want you to hear this loud and clear:

No matter what the decision was—we’re still fighting.

I’ve been saying it all week—on socials, in person, and in the blog I wrote last week laying out the ugly truth behind the politics, power plays, and big-money lobbyists trying to push us out. Dan Patrick put on a show. Abbott stayed quiet. And Texans spoke up louder than ever before.

If SB 3 was signed—we fight.
If it was left to pass in silence—we fight.
If, by some grace, it was vetoed—we still fight.

Because this isn’t just about one law. It’s about people. People who’ve found real relief. People who’ve built businesses. People who deserve options that aren’t tied to a prescription pad or a back-alley deal.

What gives me hope is that we didn’t sit this one out. We showed up. Veterans. Parents. Small business owners. Everyday Texans who know this plant is not the problem—politics are.

Whatever the outcome was at midnight, this isn’t the end of the road. It’s just the beginning of a new chapter in the fight.

And I promise—we’re in it together.
